Mataya L. Smith, of Columbus, passed away July 18, 2011. She was born September 20, 1990. Mataya was preceded in death by grandfather, Clyde Cunningham; uncle, Scott Cunningham; and grandparents, Homer (Ruth) Smith. She is survived by parents, Gregg (Tammie) Smith; brother, Kyle Smith; grandmother, Katherine Cunningham and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mataya was a very social and out going person who could light up the room when she walked in. She was a loving person and enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She will be truly missed by all who loved her. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, July 22, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 23, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial at Green Lawn Cemetery.
