Mathew Arthur Edward Scalf

Mathew Arthur Edward Scalf passed unexpectedly on April 28th, 2023. Born on June 28th, 1985 he was only 37 years old on the day he passed. Mathew was a loving, devoted son and as the only boy to a mom of 5 children he was doted on and loved beyond measure. He was a great brother to 4 sisters whom he was fiercely protective of, and a brother he loved dearly and looked up to. He was an uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was a father to a beautiful little girl who he loved more than the world as well as his many stepchildren that even though he wasn't with their moms he still loved just as much!
Mathew lived his life the way he wanted to and didn't let anything stand in the way of what he wanted to do. He was proud of his family and had many accomplishments throughout his life from the many trophies for his physical prowess to his GED. He still holds the record at Hilltonia Middle School for most pushups and pull ups. He loved his work at Dominos and Grandmas Pizza and took great pride in it. Mathew was always so ambitious in elementary school he started a store selling gum and candy to the other kids. He always wanted more and to do more!

Mathew is survived by his mom Connie Scalf (Mark), his sisters Tiffany (Darren), Tabbatha (Eli), Tambrallina (Ryan), Tearrah (Michael), Noella & April his brother Ledo and his daughter Kassie as well as a sleuth of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces & Nephews. He is preceded in death by his dad Leo Adkin, Grandmas Sophia Scalf & Eudora Adkin.

A gathering will be held on Saturday May 6th, 2023 from 3-6pm at Newcomer Grove City 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Oh 43123 to say our goodbyes and celebrate his life.
