Matthew E. Larson, 42, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2006, at St. Ann's Hospital. He was born June 9, 1964, in Columbus. Matthew was a graduate of Countryside High School in Clearwater, FL and also was a recent resident of Manor Care. He is preceded in death by his father Erik J. Larson. He is survived by his mother Angela "Dolly" Poston Howard; brother, Christopher J. Larson and many aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins. Matty faced the challenges and adversities of his life with an unwavering courage. He most treasured a good belly laugh, his music and time spent with his family. His child-like gentle spirit will be sorely missed. Matty was a shining light to all of us. A memorial service will be Saturday, October 7, 2006 at 6:00 PM. at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, with the Dr. Joanne Blum officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
