Matthew Pequignot

Matthew "Matt" Joseph Pequignot passed away on August 16, 2023 at age 54. Matt was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 4, 1968.
He graduated from Fort Jennings High School in 1987 where he was a Varsity Baseball & Basketball athlete. From there, he went on to graduate from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's degree in 1991. After graduation, he went on to have a successful career as a sales professional in the HVAC and construction industry.
Matt is survived by his wife Patricia. He is also survived by his children, Emmalyn, John "Jack", and his step-children Taylor (Sam) Woods, and Dylan (Kristen) Frim. He is also survived by his sister Jennifer (Dr. Thomas) Rossi, and their children Brianna, Kylie, and Nico, as well as, numerous life-long friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents L. Joseph and Joan.
Matt loved to spend his time playing golf with his friends and family, spending time in the sun at his Gulf Coast, Florida property, and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes. He will be sincerely missed and always remembered.
A visitation will be held at St. Paul the Apostle, 313 N. State Street Westerville, OH 43082 on August 22 at 9:00 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30. A graveside service will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 High St, Lewis Center, OH 43035.
