Matthew Thomas Wagner

Matthew Thomas Wagner was born in Canton Ohio on March 25th 1959 to Tom and Doris Marlene Wagner. He was married to Patricia Vorhies Wagner for almost 30 years.
Matt will be deeply missed by his wife Patricia (Trish) and father Tom, sister Cynthia Schaffer, and nieces Stephanie (Jacob) Sutton and Brittany Zimmerman.
Matt was proceeded in death by his mother Doris.
Matt was a talented and accomplished musician. He was a member of the renowned Canton Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps. He was a graduate of Ohio State University with a degree in music. Matt played in many university ensembles including the Jazz Ensemble. He played with the best musicians around Columbus and beyond, playing with some top name professional musicians and was a member of the World Trio Jazz.
A funeral Service will be held on Wednesday April 12 at 2 pm at the Trinity Methodist Church with the Rev. Tad Grover officiating.
