Maude Weeks Jarman was born January 12, 1920 to the late Saul and Elizabeth (Neal) Weeks in St. Joseph, Louisiana. She departed this life at Grant Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio on September 25, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Neal Weeks, her father Saul Weeks and her husband Frank F. Jarman.
Maude attended and graduated from Tensas Parish Training High School in Saint Joseph, Louisiana on June 17, 1938. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Education at Leland College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in May of 1942 .
During WWII while employed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina in the capacity of Recreational Hostess and Assistant Director of the Service Club Maude Weeks met Frank Jarman, an Army Service Force Band enlistee. The two were married in Charlestown, South Carolina, November 21, 1945. They later were transferred to Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and then to Columbus, Ohio in 1946 where they settled.
Maude retired January 30, 1980, after a total of 36 years with the Franklin County Department of Human
She was an active member of the Columbus Chapter of the Epicureans for many years.
She had a full and enjoyable life, and loved her family. She leaves her first cousin Wilson T. Winston and his children, Thomas, Teresita, Debbie, Theresa and Larry, whom she shared as her own. She leaves her beloved Joseph (Joey) Winston, whom he lovingly called Granny. She leaves a host of relatives and
extended family,especially Stacey Harris Johnson & Chyna Johnson (caretakers), and many friends who will miss her dearly.
