Maurice "Bud" Nelson, 87, passed away May 8, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Irma; and two sisters, Lenore Young and Delores Haughn. He is survived by his children, Penny (Peter) Barbera, Patricia (Elmer) Fluor and John (Yolanda); sister, Joyce Cascioli; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and furry companion, Babe. Bud retired from Jeffrey Mining and Manufacturing. He served in the Coast Guard during WWII. Visitation Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH. Funeral Service Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, OH.
