Maxine Leonard, 68, of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 13, 2007. Born to the late Max and Martha (Goodson) Allard in West Jefferson, OH., Maxine is also preceded in death by son-in-law, William Pontones; sisters, Sharon Kegg and Marilyn Schumann. Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Steve Leonard; daughter, Pam (Jeff Milliken) Pontones; son, Robert (Cindy) Lloyd; sisters, Ann (Ed) Weisheimer and Kate (Ron) Larder; brother, Melvin (Sharon) Allard; grandchildren, Melissa (Scott) Little, Rachel (Richard) Rider, Travis Lloyd, Amelia Lloyd, Amy (Donnie) Byrd, Katie (Jon) Timmons; 7 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and many friends that will miss her dearly. Maxine had worked as a travel agent and traveled many places abroad and across the states. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 16, 2007, 2-4PM &6-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, with the funeral service on Saturday, November 17, 2007, 10:00AM at the funeral home.
