McDonald Morris "Doc", 73 years old, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 13th, 2010. Doc was a retired printer from Paper Linen Company, and enjoyed his time camping, being a Karaoke DJ, old time cars, and singing country music. He was a member of SECC, and Free Will Baptist Church on Briggs Rd. in Columbus. Doc was a fantastic Husband, Dad and Papaw!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack Morris and Vada (Marshall) Morris-Rood, one brother Tom Morris and sister, Tiny Ward. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Peggy (Preece) Morris, loving children, Donna Sue (Kerry) Skinner and McDonald "Bud" (Lynne Tompkins) Morris, three sisters: June Fraley, Betty Jewell Hines, and Susie Scarberry, two grandchildren, Kylie Sue and Alicia Donn Skinner, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 16th, 2010, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 17th, 2010, 10:00 AM, all at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
