Melanne Brown

Melanne Brown, 62, of Marengo, passed away Tuesday, July 27th 2021.
Melanne was born August 19th, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio. Her parents were Dan and Dorothy (Lincicome) Gaus.

Melanne was incredibly kind hearted and had an immense love for dogs. Her dogs were her babies and she loved them deeply. She helped with dog rescues for many years, and if you were from Morrow County she may have helped with your animals in some way whether helping with food or advice.

Melanne will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her partner Jeff Gray, her brother Mike Gaus, niece Morgan and her wife Marissa Jazmine and their child Sloan, and niece Katie her husband Marcus Seas and their children Brody, Lucy, and Henry. Her former sister in law and close friend Amy and her husband Jak Smith. Her close friend Lola and her husband Bud Mowers. She had many family, friends and people whose lives she touched that loved her, too many to be named.

Melanne is preceded in death by her parents Dan and Dorothy (Lincicome) Gaus, and nephew Brock Gaus.

Celebration of life will be Thursday, August 5th , from 5 to 7 p.m. at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus. Burial will be at a later date for family.
A pot luck for family and friends to celebrate and remember her life will be held at a later date by Lola and Jeff.
