Melinda Murdock, 44, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at her residence. She was born June 28, 1964, in Columbus, daughter of Bill and Eva Burba Mayes. In addition to her parents, Melinda is survived by her, fiance, Aaron White; daughters, Shonta (Marc) Smith and Tiffany White; sons, James Murchison, Brandyn Murdock, Josh, Jim and A.J. White; sister, Tammy (Clayton) Burks; brothers, Barry (Peggy) and Bobby (Kathy) Bowles; half sister, Carolyn Rathburn; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends. Visitation will be Sunday, October 19, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home S.W. Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City. Funeral service will be Monday, October 20, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Concord Cemetery.
