Melinda "Mindy" Smith, age 51, passed away on September 30, 2021. She was born on October 6, 1969 in Columbus, Ohio.
Mindy was a passionate follower of Jesus Christ and lived her life to serve Him everyday. Her family is comforted knowing she is with Him in Heaven. Mindy was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was a beloved daughter, sister and aunt. She was a hard-worker and would do anything for her family and friends.
Mindy is survived by her son, Devin (Michelle) Smith; mother, Judy Smith; siblings, Melissia Smith, Mandy (David) Moore, Matthew Smith; granddaughter, Rori; nieces and nephews, Cameron (Rachelle) Smith, Xavier (Emily) Moore, Aaliyah Moore, Ava Moore, Angelina Moore. She was preceded by her father, Richard Smith; grandparents, Emerson and Doris Everetts.
The visitation will be on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer-SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway in Grove City, Ohio 43123. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday followed by procession to Alton Cemetery.
