Mercedes Jasakai Smalley

Mercedes Jasakai Smalley of Grove City, Ohio passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. Mercedes was born August 16, 1990 in Columbus, Ohio to Jarrod Smalley and the late Christina Neel. Mercedes is proceeded in death by her mother Christina, her sister Kamia Bowling, her Grandparents Earl Franklin Neel Sr., Virginia Seaman, Aunts Brenda Hopper, Debbie Frisby, and Uncle Earl Franklin Neel Jr. She leaves behind her beautiful children Chevy, Milea, Malakai, and Bentley, her Siblings Chassiti Longworth (Gabe), David Bowling Jr., Sabre’ Smalley- Lunsford (Cierra), Jarrod Smalley, and Dakota Smalley, Her Aunt Julie Gibson and Uncle Deane Neel and many special cousins who were more like siblings. Mercedes is the Aunt to Kamryn, Kaylee, Avery, Daylyn, Gabriella, and Jaylyn. Mercedes enjoyed so many things in life but the thing she enjoyed most was being around her family. Mercedes loved to sing and express herself through her makeup. Mercedes had a big heart and people truly loved her bright shining light, her beautiful smile and her extrovert personality. She was such a comedian and made those around her laugh. She was loud and a fierce force to be reckoned with. She loved her children, nieces, nephews, friends, and family fiercely. She will be deeply missed and will never be forgotten.
