Merle E. Cain, 69, Columbus, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Merle was born in Columbus, OH on August 19, 1941, to Arthur and Velva (Bush) Gordon and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles D. Cain; sister, Helen Darst; brother, Albert Gordon. Survivors include her three sons, Charles A. (Kathy), Harold (Linda) and Jeffrey (Colleen) Cain; brother, Harold Gordon, 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2011, 2-6 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Monday, March 14, 2011, 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg, OH.
