Merle Hunter

Merle "Nick" Hunter, age 85, passed away on October 12, 2022. He was born on August 30, 1937 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Nelson and Ruth Hunter. He is preceded in death by his son, David Hunter; brother, Dwight Martin; sister, Ann Green; brother, Harry Hunter; brother, Larry Hunter; brother, Richard Hunter. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Peggy Hunter; daughter, Kathy Whittington; grandchildren, Mikel Whittington, Angela Jordan, Kara (Julio) Galarza, Theresa (Jess Milligan) Whittington, Jessica Hunter, Austin Hunter; many great grandchildren; siblings, JaneAnn Bell, Susie Shaw, Jim (Bobbi) Hunter, Bud (Sherry) Hunter; Per the family's request, private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements entrusted to the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL.
