Michael Bennett, age 71, passed away on January 6, 2021. He was born on October 5, 1949 in Ashland, Kentucky to Harold and Norma Ashworth. He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Sandra; grandparents, Curtis and Artie Wellman.
He is survived by his son, Shaun Bennett; sister in law, Delores Crosky; sister in law, Brenda Shiline; many nieces, nephews, and other good friends. He grew up in Logan, WV and Knevoa, WV, as well as Catlettsburg, KY, beofre moving to Ohio in 1973, where he worked for 25 years at the Columbus Dispatch and then spent 11 years at The Ohio State University's Physical Facility.
In his retirement, he would often watch Westerns, target shoot, and visit back home.
Friends may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway,Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Grove City Cemetery (West).
