Michael R. Burchett, 44, of Columbus, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2009. Born to Billy Ray and Wanda (Miller) Burchett in Columbus on February 8, 1965, Michael is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Ernestine Burchett and maternal grandparents, Clarence and Mary Miller. Survivors include his parents, Billy Ray and Wanda Burchett; brother, David Burchett; niece, Kilynd Burchett; nephew, Griffen Burchett; cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends. Michael was a member of the IBEW Local 683 for over 20 years and was a graduate of Westerville South, class of 1983. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, 4-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael's name to the charity of the donors' choice.
