Michael D. Collier, 70 of Galloway, OH, formerly of North Lewisburg, OH, went Home to be with the Lord on February 17, 2022. He was born on August 29, 1951 to the late Reginald and Betty (Conley) Collier.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Manuel "Dirk" Collier and Marcus "Marc" Collier.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 24 years Teresa (Parker) Collier, children David (Torre) Collier and Amanda (Corey) Warner, step children Tana (Jeremy) Newman and Nathan (Jennifer) Kelly, grandchildren Maddy Collier, Alayna Toney, Brody Collier, Dylan and Michael Warner, Wesley (Blissa) O'Bryan, Luke and Tucker Smythe, Riley and Isaac Kelly, siblings Mitchell (Amy) Collier, Melanie (Michael) Dowell and John (Jennifer) Collier, also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Michael was a 1969 graduate of Triad High School, proudly served in the U.S. Army (SGT), retired from Navistar International, Springfield, OH and proudly employed with Newcomer Funeral Home, member of Canaan Land Church, where he was actively involved. He loved the Lord with all his heart and enjoyed serving others. He was a head greeter and worked at youth camp at Canaan Land Church, he coordinated church services at National Church Residences Lincoln Village. Michael was a proud supporter of all his grandchildren and their number one fan. Michael never met a stranger and would talk to anyone.
Friends may call at Canaan Land Church 2777 Gantz Rd, Grove City, OH on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm and 3:00pm until time of service at 6:30pm.
Burial will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 11:00am at Maple Grove Cemetery, North Lewisburg, OH.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Canaan Land Church, Building Fund.
