CRISP
Michael Roscoe Crisp Sr. "Pops" 66, went to join his family in heaven Fri. Jan. 20, 2012, he died at his home. Mike was born in Portsmouth, Oh July 1,1945. He retired from Kroger Bakery after 38 yrs of service, he served in the U.S. Army, was a member of IBCTGM Union Local #57 and was of the Baptist faith. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Roscoe and Grace Crisp, his wife Ruth Crisp, and brother Richard Crisp. Surviving family members include daughter Shella (Alan) Mann and son Michael Roscoe Crisp Jr.. Grandchildren include Sheralyn Dunn, Shaelyn Leeson, Alasia Mann, Alana Mann, 3 great grandchildren, brother David (Sandy) Crisp, sisters Linda (Tom) Pack, Kathy (Clyde) Loop, Tina (Brent) Hiles, Sherry (Todd) Stroud, sister in law Janice Crisp, many nephews, nieces, in-laws, and cousins. Mike had a great sense of humor, the song Old Troubadour explained his life well. He had many close friends, some of his special friends was his 2 brothers Richard and Dave, brother in law Tom, life long friend that spent every Tuesday with him Bob Hiles, and was like a father to many, especially Chuckie, Charlie, and Danny Boy. Visitation will be held Thursday Jan. 26th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm. A celebration of his life will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway in Grove City, Oh with Pastor Kenneth Snyder and John Colburn officiating the service at 1:00pm, Friday, January 27, 2012.
