Michael Joseph Gadomski

August 2, 1950 — August 14, 2021

Michael Joseph Gadomski was born August 2, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away on Saturday August 14, 2021 in Columbus, Ohio.

He was proceeded in death by his father Joseph and mother Veronica. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Kathleen; daughters Megan (Kevin) Abrams, Amy (Dustin) Sadler, and Danielle (Jared) Gadomski Littleton; grandchildren Alyse, K.J., Ben, Isaiah, Calvin, Elijah, and Micah; brothers Walter (Pam) Gadomski and Andrew (Mary) Gadomski; sister Erika (Peter Rose) Gadomski; and several nieces and nephews.

Michael served in the United States Air Force and retired from Nationwide Insurance after more than 35 years. He was a longtime member of Crossroads United Methodist Church where he served in many leadership roles. He was also a former Board Chair of the Westside Free Store where he spent many hours volunteering. He loved gardening, tinkering projects, and spending time with family. He was known for his humor, generosity, ability to chat with anyone, and superb hugs. Even after his diagnosis with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), he maintained his strong faith and desire to help others. He was a fun and doting husband, father, and papa.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the ALS Association, designated to support their research into treatments and a cure. Donate to The ALS Association: (please copy and paste into your browser) https://donate.als.org

A celebration of life will be held at a future date when gatherings with hugs are safe again.
