Michael E Gaus

Michael E. Gaus, age 66, of Westerville, passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2022.

He was born on June 11, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio to Dorothy Lincicome. He was soon adopted by the father he knew his entire life, Daniel Gaus.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Dorothy Gaus, his sister, Melanne Brown, and his son, Brock Gaus.

Michael is survived by his daughters, Katie (Marcus) Seas and Morgan (Marissa) Fagnani, his grandchildren, Brody Seas, Lucy Seas, Henry Seas, and Sloane Fagnani, his bonus grandchildren, Reagan Crawford and Maverick Crawford, and many other relatives and friends.

Michael was a graduate of Normandy High School and he went on to further his education at The Ohio State University where he studied administrative sciences. After graduation he began working at AMG Industries, where he worked alongside many of his college best friends until his retirement in 2016.

In his free time, he enjoyed spending time outside, watching football and relaxing at the Belterra Resort in Indiana. He was his happiest when he was spending time with his grandchildren and he never missed an event.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231.

He will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center in Michael's honor.
