Michael J. Krutulis passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday July 10, 2022. He spent his final days surrounded by his loving family.
Michael was born in Peckville, PA on August 9, 1946 to the late Matthew "Mike" and Alice (Melnick) Krutulis. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Thomas Krutulis.
Michael is survived by his wife of 41 years, Pamela (Tignor) Krutulis. At 19 years old, Pam met Michael and knew he would be the man she would spend her life with. She had prayed that God would send someone to love her for all that she is, and she ended that prayer with "Let his name be Michael."
Michael is also survived by his children, Matthew Krutulis (Alyssa Bey) and Ashton Woolever (Brandon Woolever), his brother, David (Michelle) Krutulis, sister-in-laws Delinda Krutulis and Kimberly Tignor, and his nieces Tracey, Amanda, and Alicia, and nephews Thomas and David.
Michael bravely served his country during the Vietnam War with the United States Air Force.
After being honorably discharged from the Air Force, he started a career as a long haul truck driver. He later retired from Roadway after a successful 33 years on the road.
Michael was anxiously awaiting Matthew's upcoming wedding to Alyssa in September and the arrival of his first grandson, Carson Michael Woolever, in December.
He enjoyed his time on the back porch watching the hummingbirds and enjoying his pets Charlie, Tilly, Griffin and Chloe.
The family will be holding a private memorial at a later date.
