Michael Lathrop

Michael Allen Lathrop, 40, of Columbus, died Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at home. He was born March 28, 1962 in Columbus. Preceded in death by uncles Robert J. Johnson, Norman Lathrop, and Gene Lathrop. Survived by mother Ann Lathrop, of Columbus, and father, Harvey R. Lathrop, of Wooster; aunts and uncles, Dodie Johnson, Richard and Marsha Johnson, James Johnson, Norma Lathrop, Bill and Marie Lathrop, Jim and Pat Lathrop, and Janet Lathrop; cousins, Karen, Jeff (Pam), Jennifer, Gregory and Christian Johnson, and numerous family members and friends, and his cherished Schipperke dog, Albert. Mike loved cars, airplanes, trains and ships, and enjoyed collecting transportation-related memorabilia, fountain pens and books. There will be no calling hours or services according to Mike's wishes. Arrangements and cremation are being completed with NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to the American Diabetes Association and/or American Heart Association.
