Michael Patrick Lucey, 17, of New Albany, passed away suddenly on August 3, 2020.
Michael was born February 16, 2003 in Columbus, OH to Ray Lucey and Lindsay Harris.
Michael loved playing basketball his entire life for New Albany Schools, Ohio Elite Academy and the New Albany Parks and Recreation League. Through basketball Michael "The Mailman" developed life-long friends and their friendship extended beyond the court to include video games and late night conversations. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, kindness and his unconditional love for everything.
Michael will be deeply missed by his parents Ray and Lindsay, the entire Harris and Lucey families and many friends.
Due to Covid restrictions, there will be a Celebration of Michael's Life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be created in Michael's name, information can be directed to Lindsay Harris at lindsayharris47@yahoo.com.
Friends of Michael have also created a t-shirt in his memory, shirt are $10 and can be purchased through sebastian51103@gmail.com.
Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery.
