Michael Patrick Millay

Michael Patrick Millay, 52, of Mount Perry, Ohio, passed away December 2, 2021.

He was born on February 11, 1969 in Columbus, Ohio to Thomas and Reba Millay.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Loma Tonja Vedrinski; and niece, Deaven Vedrinski.

Surviving family includes his wife, Shannon Millay; daughters, Chelsea Millay and Whitney Millay; brother-in-law, Tim Vedrinski; aunt, Patty Sauer; nephew, Kyle (Cindy) Erwin; special friend, Liberty Carte; his best buddy, Mazzie Grace and a large community of friends.

Mike dedicated his life to family and friends, that is what mattered most to him. He loved his girls more than anyone could imagine and was a dedicated and loving husband.

He had an unforgettable smile and magnetic personality. He loved everyone; his band community, his brothers and sisters. Performing didn't stop when he stepped off the stage; any opportunity he would get he would sing to me until he made me blush. Mike was always trying to be funny and joking around was his past time. He also had a passion for motorcycles and taking long rides on the weekends was our therapy.

He enjoyed cooking and was a good baker (he had a huge sweet tooth).

Mike held a special place in his heart for our Mazzie Grace, he was her person and Mike spoiled her like she was our daughter.

The outpouring of love and prayers from everyone has been incredibly overwhelming, it just proves that everyone who he touched he had a profound effect on their lives.
