Michael O. Farmer, 44, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, surrounded by his loving family. Born to Richard O. and Lucille (Townsend) Farmer in Cleveland, OH, on October 30, 1965, Mike is preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Machele (Dencer) Farmer; son, Michael D. Farmer; mother, Lucille Farmer; brothers, Richard (Diane) and Robert (Candie) Farmer; mother-in-law, Marilyn Dencer; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Mike was founder and owner of M & M Remodeling, coached Little League and was a dedicated father, husband and friend. Mike's family will receive friends on Saturday, December 5, 2009, 1-5PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mike's name to Special Olympics Ohio, PO Box 329008, Columbus, OH 43232. The wishes to thank the wonderful compassionate staff of the SICU of OSU Medical Center.
