Michael David Pinson

Michael David Pinson, 69, passed away October 3, 2023 after a 3 year struggle with dementia. He was preceded in death by parents, Alvin and Josephine Pinson; dear friend, Donald Bentley. Mike is survived by wife of 45 years, Elizabeth Pinson; daughters, Candace (Bobby) Stumbo and Jennifer (Jeff Kazee) Pinson; grandchildren, Michael Bentley, Josephine Elisabeth, Genevieve Louise, and Andrew Jay; sister, Patricia (Vern) Spaniel; 8 sisters and brothers-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mike was a graduate of Marion Franklin HS. Immediately after, he joined the US Army 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg, NC. After that, Mike married Elizabeth and joined the IBEW L.U. 683. He was an avid golfer, car enthusiast, guitar player, enjoyed reading, and attending rock-n-roll concerts with his friends. Mike was a proud veteran and brother of local 683. His friends meant the world to him.
Visitation Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 4pm until the time of Funeral Service at 6pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Wounded Warriors Project or the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
