Michael A. Prater, age 64, passed away on April 4 2021. He was born on February 27, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Charles Prater and Lois Groves.
He is survived by his loving wife whom he married on August 20, 1999, Lora Prater; daughters, Arica Prater, Jasmine Smith; son, Jamie Prater; grandchildren, Madison Snyder, Melody Snyder, and Gianni Brooks; best friend Ray Peters, multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends.
Michael served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era. He was a Boatswain Mate Seaman on the USS Shreveport as an assault boat coxswain.
Friends may gather at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
