Michael W. Shultz, 64, of Mechanicsburg, OH, passed away March 23, 2011 at the VA Medical Center, Dayton, OH. He was born on May 22, 1946 in Bellefontaine, OH to Robert and Harriett Jeanne (Coover) Shultz. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He played Rugby with the Heidelberg/American Rugby Club of Germany. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving family includes, wife, Anna Shultz, son, Robert Tyler (Sarah) Shultz, daughters, Christine (Ted) Musgrave (grandchildren, Hannah, Mackenzie, Sydney, Peyton, Quincy), Lauren Shultz, step-children, Angie (Gene) Wolford (grandchildren, Joey, Brittany, Brandon, great-granddaughter, Izzy), Mike (Ree) Wolford (grandchildren, Hayden, Mikey, Haley), Steve (Shauna) Wolford (grandchildren, Stephen, Sabrina), special friends, Bill and Chris Beachler, and his 23 loving shih-tzu kids at home. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00am, Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. The family encourages guests to wear their OSU gear. Interment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Anna Shultz.
