Michele Renee (Bartlett-Taylor) Dole, age 53, born January 15, 1967. After a courageous battle for three years with brain cancer, she died peacefully at home January 2, 2021. She was born in Bellaire, Ohio. Michele attended Bellaire High School and graduated in 1985. After graduation, she attended Belmont Technical College for the Executive Secretary coursework. Prior to her illness, Michele was a 15-year Ohio Health employee and enjoyed going to work each day. Michele loved to talk to people and she never knew a stranger. As a child, Michele took dance lessons and in her adult years was an avid ballroom and line dancer. Michele enjoyed family gatherings and playing cards. She always looked forward to her annual vacations to the Florida beach and traveling. Michele was known for her love of animals and for years rescued Pugs.
Michele was preceded in death by her mother Delma Elizabeth (Turner) Bartlett, both her maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as many aunt and uncles.
She is survived by her husband James Dole, Gahanna, OH; son Robert John (Samantha) Taylor, Crystal Lake, IL; stepson Brandon (Laura) Dole, Oregon; granddaughter Harper Rose Taylor, grandsons Everett, Theo and Aidan, father Howard (Alice) Bartlett, Sr., Jefferson City, MO; sister Charlene (Rich) Seevers, Grove City, OH; sister Brenda Kanzigg, Worthington, OH; and brother Howard (Sheila) Bartlett, Jr., Pataskala, OH. Nephews and nieces, Richard (Heather) Seevers, Brady (Jenny) Seevers, Abbigail (Jack) Hickman, Allyson Seevers (Rob Chapman), Kyle (Megan) Kanzigg, Michael Kanzigg, Howard (Brigette) Bartlett III, and Ashlee Bartlett, three great-nephews and one great-niece, other extended family/friends, as well as her beloved fur baby's DoSi, Edison and Heykitty.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 4pm until 6pm at Newcomer NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Rd. Columbus.
There will be a private service to follow.
All current health orders will be followed with facial masks and social distancing will be practiced.
