Michele A. Ward-Williams

July 29, 1951 — March 2, 2022

Michele Ann Ward-Williams was born July 29, 1951, to the late Arthur Lee Ward, and the late Ira Le'Vern Thomas on the United States Air Force base in Guam. She was the only girl of six children.

Preceded in death by the twins Craig and Crandell Ward.

Survived by brothers Frederick Steward(Bernice) Aaron and Eric Thomas.

Michele grew up in Denver, Colorado where she graduated from George Washington High School. Later, she went on to Capital University and obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

Michele's legacy began with the birth of her three beautiful daughters Misty Wedgeworth-Williams(Woodie), Suzette Lucas(Terrell), and Iralee Williams; once she fell in love with Robert Williams they married September 2, 1989, from this union gained 5 bonus children Robin Williams, Rita Shanks(Frederick II),Apostle Roderick Williams(Dr.Taketa), Roberta Elmore(Shawn), and Robert Williams II. She has Eighteen Grandchildren, and a host of Great and Great-great Grandchildren. And her two sister in-love Geneva (Dimp) Barrett, Alice(Margie) Carter.

Michele loved the color red, traveling, and spending time with her family. Her favorite band was Frankie Beverly and Maze. She was also a devout Christian; Michele was active in both her former church Wesley United Methodist and present place of worship New Covenant Believers Church. Michele loved the Lord. She shared God's love constantly with her family and anyone around her. She had the heart of a lion and the compassion to believe in someone even when they didn't believe in themselves. She loved spending summers with her devoted Grandmother Martha Sams, and Aunt Ernestine Presley, as well as her lovely cousins Brenda Lewis and Faye Presley.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 11th, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a Funeral Service immediately following at New Covenant Believers Church, 3400 Kohr Road, Columbus - OH 43224. Burial will take place in procession to Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
