Mickey L. Mccarty

Mickey Lou McCarty, 69, passed away December 31, 2023. She was preceded in death by father, Nathan Deskins; mother, Dorothy Deskins; sister, Joann Grace; sister, Nora Varga; brother, James Dillon; sister, Diane Grace; and nephew, Roger Wickham. Mickey is survived by brother, Roger (Vicky) Deskins; sister, Vickie (Aaron) Damron; sister, Rosetta (Alan) Agler; son, Michael (Marilynn) Deskins; grandsons, Garrett and Grant Moore; many nieces and nephews; boyfriend of 28 years, Greg Thomas; and numerous friends, too many to count.

Mickey was a member of American Legion Post 532 on Demorest Road in Columbus, Ohio.

She was the best mom and grandmother in the world and she will be forever missed.

Visitation Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 12pm until the time of Funeral Service at 1pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mickey's memory to American Legion Post 532.
