Mildred J. Sowers, 77, Westerville, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. Mildred was born in Siler, Ky., on July 31, 1933, to Arthur and Tisha (Bennett) Rose and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willard Sowers; daughter, Kim Heffley and brothers, Elmer, Carl and Kenneth. Survivors include her children, Terry (Sue) Sowers, Canal Winchester, Kathy (Terry) Fisher, Westerville, Jodi (Scott) Stickel, Westerville, Nicole (Jeremy) Weaver, Blacklick; brother, Arnold (Flora) Rose, Dayton; grandchildren, Mandi (Tony) Kleman, Stephen Stickel, Katie Stickel, Cole Weaver, Isabella Weaver, Jaxson Weaver; great-grandchildren, Mitch and Shane Kleman; son-in-law, Eric Heffley; nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends and loving care givers at Manor Care of Westerville. The family will observe private services at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel. Interment will be at Dublin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Central Ohio Chapter, 3380 Tremont Road, Columbus, OH 43221.
