Mildred "Micki" Shamblin

Mildred "Micki" Shamblin, age 70, of Pataskala passed away on January 14, 2023. She was born on October 6, 1952 to the late Frank and Alice Kennedy. In addition to her parents, Micki is preceded in death by siblings, Dennis Lawson, Deanna Shamblin, Mary Collins, Kenny Kennedy; and grandchildren.

Micki is survived by her loving family, Pete Shamblin, Connie (Terry) Clayton, Jody (Hector Hernandez) Shamblin, Madge "Missy" Montell, Lisa (Jim) Kellett, Joel "Petey" Shamblin; grandchildren, Terry II, Andy, Tommy, Chelsea, Joshua, Sofia, Ashley, Bobby, Blaise, Kali, Madison, Kayla, Taylor, Karlee, Daysia, Joel, Shyanne; great-grandchildren, Leilynn, Janiyah, Meairah, Araeiah, Kamaur, Reese, Koah, Braven, Lorax, August, Scarlett, Zaven, Melody, Nash, Morgan; and many other and friends.

Micki loved her family most of all. She believed in family, food and forgiving people. Micki enjoyed having her family close by and watching everyone grow up. She was the type of person that loved with a sacrificial love, always willing to make room or help anyone who needed it. Micki was an obsessed cat mom. She was sassy, kind, independent and a hardworking mother, grandmother and friend. Micki always enjoyed a good time, good food and laughing with friends and family.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Newcomer Northeast, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial at Community Gardens Cemetery, 5080 State Route 13 NE, Somerset 43783. Preceding the funeral everyone is welcome to join the family for a potluck meal beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Conine Clubhouse, 617 Conine Way, Pataskala 43062.
