Mildred Strong, died August 14, 2009. She was born to Miles and Nellie (Bates) Bryan in Noble County, OH on August 23, 1913. She was preceded in death by siblings: Harley, Emil, Ervin, Edna (Claude) Murray and Sylvia (Alvin) Sells. Mildred married Louis R. Strong in 1934 and at the time of his death in 1987 they had been married for nearly 53 years. She is survived by her three children, Natalie Barkhurst of Gahanna, OH, Ronald (Ruth) Strong of Lexington, OH and Robert (Jeannine) Strong of Carmel, IN. Also surviving are six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mildred was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Zanesville. Graveside Service Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 1:30 PM at Zanesville Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH.
