Misty Hymes Dickerson, 56, passed away Sunday evening, May 5, 2024, at Mount Carmel East.
Misty was born on October 5, 1967, in Columbus, a daughter of the late Margie White and James Hymes Sr. She was a graduate of Eastmoor High School and furthered her education by receiving many certifications in pursuit of a higher degree. Her undeniable beauty allowed her to stand out during competition and win the title of Queen. She dedicated her life to helping and serving people in any way possible. She found her purpose in many career paths including medical, retail and customer service.
She found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was extremely talented at crafting and making personalized gifts. Her Cricut machine was a place of comfort and joy. She loved to see the smiles on everyone’s faces when they received a gift she made.
She was a true people person and made every interaction pleasant no matter who she came across. Her infectious smile will always be remembered by those she knew and loved. However, her greatest joy came from being a devoted mother and grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her family and loved creating memories that will last forever.
