Moniqua Jean Stephens

Moniqua Jean Stephens, 35, of Columbus, passed away on October 9, 2024. She was born in Columbus to Karl Stephens and Freda Rivers. Along with her parents, Moniqua is survived by loving children, Kyleigh Stephens-Keels and Kyle Stephens-Keels; her siblings, Malissa Rivers, Luciano Reyes II, and Jessica Rivers; uncle, Minister Timothy Stephens; aunts, Paula Stephens and LaRaine Clark; Niece and nephews, Modesty Rivers, Darius Rivers, Luciano Reyes, Joshua Reyes; and many other friends and family. She was preceded in death by Norma J. Stephens, her beloved grandmother.

Moniqua graduated from East High school in 2007 where she made lifelong friends. She attended Regency Hair school and Columbus State Community College. Moniqua spread love to everyone she came in contact with. Her smile was contagious, and her humor and laughter could brighten anyone’s day. There was never a dull moment being with her. She was a loving mother, aunt, cousin, friend, granddaughter and sister. She will truly be missed, as the time with her will always be cherished and never be forgotten.

Immediate family will greet friends and family from 12pm to 2pm, Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Newcomer Northeast, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A service to honor her life will be held at 2pm, also on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the funeral home. The Newcomer family is honored to serve the Stephens family.
