Myron Edward Hill, 84, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
Myron was born July 1, 1939, in Columbus to Leroy and Dorothy Hill.
Myron enjoyed golfing more than anything, and always looked forward to early Wednesday mornings joining his Senior League golf buddies on the course.
He also enjoyed bowling, fishing, dancing, and hunting. Myron could be found at the Eagles Linden Fraternal Order twice a week playing cards and eating their pizza or steak dinners.
He had a sincere desire to help people and did this by providing homemade meals or a warm place to sleep to those in need. In addition, Myron volunteered at Habitat for Humanity and spent time making improvements to his rental properties.
Myron graduated from Linden McKinley High School and retired from Weyerhaeuser in Delaware. He attended The Church on Oakland Park.
Myron was preceded in death by his wife Shirley (Faryman), sisters JoAnn and Nancy, and one brother, Don.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Carl (Donna) Hill, Brenda Drochek, and Diana Robinson; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson; and 3 siblings, Deborah, Cindy, and Vicky.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 3pm to 7pm and again Friday, January 5, from 12:30pm to 1pm at Newcomer NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus. Funeral Service will follow and Friday at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
