Myron "Gene" Pence, age 80 of Columbus, OH, passed away on December 24, 2020 at The Ohio State Medical Center. He was born on May 16, 1940 to the late Herbert and Pauline (McClellan) Pence in Lakeview, OH.
Gene retired after 32 years from Anheuser-Busch and was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist.
Along with his parents, Myron was preceded in death by son Bruce Pence, grandson Christopher Pence and brother Robert Pence. Myron is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Patricia (Gilliland) Pence, children Jerry Pence, Duane (Deborah) Pence and Pamela (Eddie) Priddy, grandchildren Anthony (Emily) Priddy, Steven Priddy, Joseph Pence and Evelyn Pence, sister Judy (Don) Muchmore, sister-in-law Shirley Pence, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, on Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm.
Burial to follow at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist, 6176 Sharon Woods Blvd., Columbus, OH 43229.
