Myrtle Economy, 79, of Columbus, passed, Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at her residence. Born January 2, 1930, in Kermit, W.V., daughter of the late Harlan and Pearlie Salmons Williams. Myrtle volunteered for various charities and was also a member of the V.F.W., Moose Lodge 11 and the American Legion. Myrtle enjoyed gardening, dancing, music, traveling, arts and crafts, and being with her family. She is survived by her daughters, Judy Hancock, Vicki (Michael) Fusner and Terry (Mike) Economy- Toohey; brother, Clifton Williams; sisters, Lorene Rummel and Mable Williams; grandchildren, Tonya (Matt) Perry, and Tamara Fluty, Aaron (Rose) and Christopher (Sarah) Fusner, Alexandria Hoyer and Alivia Toohey; great grandchildren, Sonya and Gabrielle Fluty, Savanna and Ava Perry, and Charlotte Fusner; numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends; special friend, James Rodgers; co- workers at Rescare. Visitation will be Sunday, March 22, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City. Funeral service will be Monday, March 23, 2009 at 1:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be Alton Cemetery.
