Myrtle Cordell Jordan, 72, of Columbus, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2008. Born to Edward and Cora (Ross) Blythe in Blaine, KY on February 3, 1936, Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Thaddeus Cordell; second husband, Kenneth Jordan; sisters, Marie Cordle, Vina Hogston and Lottie Wallace; brother, Bill Blythe. Survivors include her sons, Ronnie (Brenda) and Randy (Patty) Cordell; sisters, Betty Jordan and Nellie Carter; brother, Jay Blythe; grandchildren, Rhonda, Angie, Jason (Rachel), Jeremy, Nicole and Josh Cordell; 6 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2008, 2-4PM & 6-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the Funeral Service on Monday, November 17, 2008, 12:30PM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Lithopolis Cemetery, Lithopolis, OH.
