Myrtle Mae Charles, born June 4, 1911, went to be with the Lord, Monday, February 9, 2009. She was 97 years old. Preceded in death by her father and mother, William W. and Elizabeth (Martino) Coontz; husband, Lloyd S. Charles; son, Stanley L. Charles; daughter in-law, Norma (Puckett) Charles; and great grandson, Matthew A. Charles. Survived by son, Harold (Nancy); grandsons, Steve, and Jeff (Debbie); granddaughter, Terri; great granddaughters, Carolyn and Natalie; many nieces, nephews, and friends; special friend, Rita Guning; and special caretakers, Mary and Dianne. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2009 from 11:00AM-1:00PM with funeral service following at 1:00PM at West Broad Church of the Nazarene, 431 Amity Road, Galloway, Ohio. Pastor Wayne Beard officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel.
