Nabil J. Mansour a.k.a Nabby, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024. He is survived by his daughter Gabrielle Laurice (Blake), grandson Isaiah Bourne, Dina Carr, and the entire Carr family. All of whom were by his side upon his death. He is also survived by his brothers Ghassan (Henriette), Fouad (Georgette), Anthony (Maha), and many nieces and nephews. Nabil's family also includes an overwhelming number of close friends. Vince Militello and Mark Carsey are just a few.
Nabil was born March 23, 1952 in Damascus, Syria, son to Joseph and Laurice Mansour. At the young age of nine, he came to The United States, and was cared for by his uncle and aunt, Samuel and Mary Absi(TeTe). Nabil proudly served in the US Army and attended The Ohio State University. His life was devoted to hard work and raising his only daughter.He had a strong passion for music, food, politics, reading, but most importantly football/The OSU Buckeyes. Nabil will be remembered for his loving, compassionate heart and the generosity he had for everyone around him. He will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be held Friday January 12th 4pm-7pm at Newcomers Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231. Following visitation, Memorial/ Funeral service will be held at 7pm at the funeral home as well.
