In loving memory of the life and legacy of Nancy Ann Derenberger
Nancy Ann Derenberger passed away peacefully on April 3, 2024 surrounded by family and loved ones. Nancy, born on December 16, 1955, to Mary Ann and William David Montoney was the youngest of 4 siblings, graduated from Big Walnut High School, and created a loving home in Columbus, Ohio. Nancy was adventurous, enjoying boating on Lake Erie, and RV camping with friends and family. She loved her community, making new friends, and was a member of the local VFW. Nancy valued family and often hosted holiday gatherings including her infamous annual Christmas cookie exchange. Nancy was honest, authentic, loved hard, and lived life to the fullest every chance she had. She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to meet and know her.
Nancy Derenberger is predeceased by her beloved husband, Ronald Derenberger Sr. and her parents Mary Ann and William David Montoney. She is survived by her daughters, Anna Napolitano, Amy Spencer, brother Paul (and Connie) Montoney, sisters Toni (and Don) Lacy, Sue Tier, many cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren, and wonderful nieces, nephews and additional extended family members.
Visitation Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 3pm until the time of Funeral Service at 5pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Graveside Committal Monday, April 15, 2024 at 10:30am at Mifflin Township Cemetery, Gahanna, OH.
