Nancy Hensley

Nancy Jane Hensley, 74, of Columbus, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the Kobacher House. Born September 30, 1938 in Athens, Ohio to the late Delbert and Marie Riley.
Nancy was very active and passionate in her faith at St. James The Less Parish on Oakland Park. She loved to crochet and make blankets for her new grandchildren.
She was proud to boast about the number of grandchildren and great grandchildren she had to carry on her legacy. After she retired from ABM, she enjoyed spending time with her family, including Sunday meals, and church.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Anthony David Hensley Sr.; daughters, Sherry Jean and Sandra Jane Hensley; son Samuel Bruce Hensley.
Survived by her children, Mark Anthony (Sandra) Hensley, Karen (Chuck) Snyder, Tammy (Jr.) Evans, Anthony David Hensley, Jr.; close family friend, Kathy Danielson; 15 grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren; faithful companion, Princess; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends.
Friends may call from 5-8 PM Friday, March 8, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 where services will be held at 10 AM Saturday. Burial in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
