Nancy L. "Mimi" Humphrey, 71, of Columbus, passed on Monday, May 16, 2011 at Mt. Carmel West surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Myron and Betty Coontz and loving brother, Jim Coontz. Nancy is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Mark (Thelma) Peart, Marilyn Helsel, Mindy Stair, Susan Greenlee and Debra (Robin) Sarnel; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and two nephews. She retired from Board of Elections and was a member of the VFW and Ladies of Swiss Club. Visitation Monday, May 23, 2011 from 4-7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A special thank you to Mt. Carmel Hospice. To extend appreciation, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nancy's name to The Mount Carmel Hospice, C/O Mount Carmel Foundation, 6150 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213-9924.
