Nancy C Swisher

Nancy C. Swisher, born on April 19, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio, peacefully departed this world on March 18, 2025, in Hilliard, Ohio. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Nancy will be deeply missed by her family and friends who treasured her kindness and unwavering spirit.

For 54 wonderful years, Nancy was the beloved wife of Charles Swisher, who preceded her in death. She was a proud mother to two daughters, Diana Dush of Hilliard and Lisa Leach of Powell, and a cherished mother-in-law to Jason Leach. Nancy's legacy continues through her grandchildren who adored her: Seth Humphrey and his fiancé Jake Hruschak, Jake Leach, Caleb Westervelt and his fiancé Taylor Cunningham, Andrew Leach, Olivia Housden and her husband Chris, Charlie Dush, and Caitlyn Dush. Nancy had the joy of being a great-grandmother to Stone Housden.

She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Chaffin, her brother-in-law, Charles Chaffin, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and friends who were touched by her warmth and generosity.

Nancy's family is grateful for the moments shared and the memories created throughout her life. A visitation will be held on April 4, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest, located at 10051 Brewster Ln, Powell, OH 43065 at 5:00pm. The family invites all who knew and loved Nancy to join them in honoring her remarkable life.

Nancy’s spirit will remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
