Nancy Lynn Warren, 86, entered eternal rest on Monday, October 24, 2022 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born in Columbus, OH on July 16, 1936 to the late Martha A. Gravley Evener. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Robert D. Warren who passed in 2013; brothers, Richard Gravley and Donald Gravley. Surviving family includes children, Wendy (Bill) DeRoy (Plain City, OH), Dan (Sherri) Warren (Jefferson, PA), Doug Warren (Columbus, OH), nine grandchildren; John, Elizabeth (Peter), Mary (Tom), Sam, Daniel, Phillip, Troy (Constance), Joseph and Jenna and a great-grandson Brooks; brother, Gene (Sandy) Gravley (New Zealand); many nieces and nephews; as well as many dear friends.
She graduated from Linden McKinley High School, Columbus, OH. She worked at the Timken Roller Bearing Company before starting her family. While raising her children she worked for The American Cancer Society and the Ohio State Department of Taxation. Robert and Nancy raised their family in Columbus, OH before retiring to The Villages, FL where they attended New Covenant Methodist Church. She was a devoted wife and mother and loving Nanny to her grandchildren. She cherished family gatherings and vacations.
Thank you to the caregivers, nurses, hospice professionals, music therapists and friends that have helped us navigate her many years of Alzheimer's disease. A private family celebration and burial will be planned at a later date. She will be buried at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center, OH, alongside her husband. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Processing Center, Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011 in her memory.
