Nancye Wilson, 95, passed away Oct. 30, 2021. She was born in Lima, OH on June 16, 1926. She was preceded in death by husband of over 57 years, Bill Wilson and son, Steve Wilson.
Nancye is survived by sons, John (Noreen) Wilson and Dave (Fonda) Wilson; grandchildren, Lyndsay, William, Taylor, Rebecca, and Katie.
Nancye was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to the Buckeyes. She enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, yearly, was an avid book reader, and liked to keep her mind sharp doing crossword puzzles. Nancye graduated from The Ohio State University, in 1949. She loved her Buckeye football and basketball.
She worked and retired from the State of Ohio Department of Taxation. She also dabbled in real estate, was a wiz at Wheel of Fortune, and a very good Jeopardy player...loving both shows.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Newcomer, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH 43065 from 1-3pm, Sunday, November 21st, 2021.
She was a breast cancer survivor, so in lieu of flowers, please donate in her honor to the Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center.
To honor her memory and love for the Buckeyes please wear Buckeye gear to her memorial!
