Naomi Blackburn age 66 passed away Saturday, August 31, 2002 at the Kobacker House. Preceded in death by parents Lee Roy & Omey (Ward) Varney; brothers Roscoe and Floyd Varney; sister Vicy Varney. Survived by husband of 48 years William Joe Blackburn, daughter Shelia Gribble; grandchildren Michael and Christopher Gribble; sisters Quellie Esposito, Creasid Hewlett, Roma (Dan) Hewlett, Lurlie Varney , Celia (Ronald) Short; brothers Lee (Joyce) Varney, Robert (Violet) Varney, Hazert (Loneda) Varney and Verlin (Joyce) Varney. Visitation Tuesday, September 3, 2002 from 5-8 PM at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME 3047 East Dublin Granville Road Columbus. Wednesday funeral service 11 AM family will receive friends starting at 10 AM until service time and the Graveside service will be 3 PM at Vinton Memorial Garden in Vinton, Ohio.
